RE: Chess / OnyxReader
It's free software, very good.

You can propose this, at Onyx, to became a part of the next official firmwares?

Hi julodnik

I am glad to see you again. Thanks for the new version of the reader. I found it solved the problem related to German words starting with ueber. I started to read Stieg Larsson in German. I wouldn't dare to have started such a thing without your reader.
I use your reader to read the German version and the Boox reader to read the English version. In this way I need not to switch dictionaries.
good night

Nice to see it worked for you.
There is a new feature where you can quickly switch between two books. The dictionary won't be switched yet. But if you think it might be useful for you, then I can put it on my to-do list.

Now the music player is working. The player must be downloaded separately.

I have overlooked this switching function. This is very handy.
If the dictionary can be switched at the same time, it would further enhance this reader's status as the best reader for language learners.

RE: Chess / OnyxReader
Today I came across your Onyx Reader (version 2.4). I'd love to use it!
However, it doesn't work on my Boox A60 with the firmware from my distributor.

Which firmware shall I have to be able to run OnyxReader? I have 1.6 20111128. There appears clock's icon and after 2 seconds it disappears and nothing happens...

Side question: could you point me to a site that has that firmware for download ? I will add it to the available downloads here.

I guess it's the Polish version with the brand lock that is discussed in this thread.

Exactly, that's it.

The new version 2.4b solved my problem, thanks!
